Third-party Domain Rating
After a URL analysis, PageDNA sends only the normalized hostname (for example, example.com) from its server to Ahrefs to retrieve Domain Rating. It does not send the URL path, query parameters, cookies, page content, or browser identifiers. Ahrefs processes that request under its own terms and privacy policy.
What the browser snippet reads
The snippet never reads passwords, cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or any auth token. It only inspects structure, classes, computed visuals, and accessibility attributes.
No account
PageDNA never asks for a login or a user profile. Exports (PNG, SVG, JSON) are only generated when you choose to download them.
Cookies and local storage
PageDNA sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking, or third-party trackers. It only uses browser localStorage (not a cookie) to store your language preference, consent choice, and theme settings; this data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear your browser localStorage to reset all preferences.
