This page is a general description of how the product behaves and is pending legal review. It is not a finalized legal privacy policy.

Local-first analysis

Paste, upload, and browser-snippet modes run locally in your tab, nothing is sent to a backend. URL analysis goes through the PageDNA backend, which only fetches the address you provide using the options you select.

What the browser snippet reads

The snippet never reads passwords, cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, or any auth token. It only inspects structure, classes, computed visuals, and accessibility attributes.

No account

PageDNA never asks for a login or a user profile. Exports (PNG, SVG, JSON) are only generated when you choose to download them.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies for site functionality. With your consent, we also use analytics tools. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer. Browser localStorage (not cookies) stores your language preference, cookie consent choice, and theme settings; this data stays on your device. You can clear your browser localStorage to reset all preferences.
