Frequently asked questions
Answers grounded in how PageDNA actually works.
Do I need an account?
No. PageDNA never asks for a login or a user profile.
Is my code sent to a server?
Most modes run locally in your tab; only URL analysis touches the backend.
What does the browser snippet read?
Only structure, classes, computed visuals, and accessibility attributes, never passwords, cookies, or tokens.
What can I export?
PNG, SVG, and JSON are only generated when you choose to download them.
Is there a usage limit?
The daily limit is per IP and resets at midnight UTC. Run PageDNA locally for unlimited analyses.
What does PageDNA analyze?
Six signal layers, from the DOM down to code signals and an optional rendered snapshot.
Ready to see your page's DNA?
Feed a page, watch PageDNA read its structure, and export the visualization.
